Andy is a journalist, editor and public relations consultant with over twenty years' experience of working with the UK subcontract manufacturing sector. A trained metallurgist, he worked for some years in industry before gaining his doctorate and then moving into business journalism. In the course of his career he has edited titles including Sheet Metal Industries, Engineering Lasers, Metalworking Production and Subcon Magazine. Andy now runs his own business communications consultancy and was delighted to be offered the opportunity to edit Engineering Capacity in 2007.
