Biopharm Manufacturer's Supplier is Outstanding

The biotech and pharmaceutical industries require the utmost stringency in dosing and sterility, and Alfa Laval has developed a range of maximum hygiene integrity products. To meet these stringent requirements, the manufacture operates a vendor rating system and has awarded its Supplier of the Year Award to LMS Precision Engineering, Droitwich, Worcestershire.
Of all the contractors supplying parts to Alfa Laval for pumps, valves and heat exchangers, LMS Precision achieved the highest score of 98.9 out of a maximum 100, which confirmed the supplier's outstanding 'A' grade status.
LMS earned full marks on most of the continual performance parameters measured during a 12 month period:
Quality; Delivery on time; Price;
Service; and Proactivity.
The company operates eight lathes and three machining centres and is also a supplier to the aerospace industry.
