The new five-axis machine was developed to meet the increasing use of PCD tooling in the automotive and aerospace industries, and was voted the most innovative machine at EMO, Hannover, in September 2001. It can produce radii down to 0.1mm and generate surface finishes that can eliminate the need for finish-grinding.
