Top Supplier of the Year Wins Two Years in a Row

The Alfa Laval 'Supplier of the Year' award has been won, again, for the second consecutive year, by LMS Precision Engineering of Droitwich, Worcestershire. The biopharm manufacturer based in Eastbourne, introduced its vendor rating system to meet stringent requirements for the supply of components for its range of maximum hygiene integrity products.
Of all the contractors supplying parts to Alfa Laval for pumps, LMS Precision achieved the highest score of 99 out of a maximum 100, which confers the contractor's 'A' grade status.
LMS earned full marks on most of the continual performance parameters measured between September 02 and August 03, which included: Quality;
Delivery on time; Price; Service and Proactivity. The company operates eight lathes and three machining centres and is also a supplier to the aerospace industry.
