Project Investigates Potential for Rapid Prototyping in Casting Supply Chains

There is a pitifully small level of application of rapid prototyping technologies in the casting sector. Castings Technology International, Sheffield, (Cti) is embarking on a far-reaching, 3-year programme of work to determine the extent to which the widespread application of Rapid Prototyping (RP) in the casting supply chain is a realistic and viable proposition.
