Perfect Bore has the ability to gundrill and hone fine limit holes and ports with the extra specialist service of superfinishing, which provides a high precision surface improvement on cylindrical, parallel, rods and pins.

Bores of 1.5mm - 500mm diameter x 2000mm length can be bored whilst the honing capacity can cope with diameters of 2mm up to 500mm x 3000mm length. The gundrilling service ranges from 1.5mm up to 35mm diameter through billets as long as 2000mm. Bores from 35mm up to 200mm are also processes. A lapping service, with full metrology support, is now available.

Using temperature controlled inspection, bores can be finished to 0.001mm accuracy with a surface finish of 0.05ra. Blind bores are a speciality. The measurement capability is to 0.0005mm with full data analysing facilities.
