The unique double slit pattern gives very high torsional stiffness and unsurpassed reliability. In addition, and unlike some spiral beam couplings, the Relia-Flex coupling introduces negligible radial and axial bearing loads.

Another benefit to BEP has been that they no longer need to use bore reducers in couplings to suit their customers' requirements. Reliance's flexible manufacturing process allows them to supply the Reli-a-Flex product with each coupling bored out to the required size.
