Gearboxes of all types (e. g.spur, helical, worm, bevel) can be rebuilt from instrument sizes up to 5000kg. A large stock of gears, splines and couplings in a range of materials is also available.

The company's gear production facility has over 100 dedicated machines, which can make gears from 4mm to 2600mm diameter. For manufacture of other transmission components, Llewellins Gears has turning, milling, grinding, broaching, honing and state-of-the-art 5-axis EDM wire cutting facilities.
