When Delapena was asked to improve the quality, the application was tailored to the needs of the product by skilled operators using the latest NC controlled E2000 honing machine.

This machine provides high precision and improves production time across a diameter range from 1.14mm to 120mm and up to 320mm stroke length using a fully programmable electronic control.

As product sales increased, the client decided to buy its own E2000 machine.

Delapena then worked in partnership with the client; continuing to hone the products, and at the same time training the client's operators, as well as finding ways to enhance the process and reduce processing time.
