Biggest Design Event Prepares to Open Doors

According to organisers of this year's Design Engineering Show, DES 2004 will be the biggest design event in the UK for over a decade. Design engineers provide the innovation, speed to market and product quality needed to compete successfully in today's global economy, and will find ideas, information and inspiration at the show, 28-30 September, NEC, Birmingham.

New Clay Model Cutting Machines Secure Major Global Automotive Deal

A recent investment of £650,000 in two state-of-the-art clay model cutting machines, has helped secure a multi-million pound global automotive deal for design and prototype engineering specialist, Concept Group, Coventry. The machines digitally measure, mill and scan, thereby reducing lead times dramatically.
