Various plans for a 54,000 square foot facility encompassing both Ensinger's stock shapes distribution business and one of its specialist machining companies (Ensinger Precision Engineering Ltd) have already been drawn up. Along with these core businesses, Ensinger also supplies injection mouldings and custom cast components.

Managing director, John Speirs, said: "The move to a purpose-built factory will reinforce our position as a leading UK sub-contractor in precision machined plastic parts and will enable us to enhance our distribution business through greater stockholding and improved logistics.

New products, including specialist blends for the medical industry and anti-microbial materials will take up some of the additional warehouse space the new facility will provide."
