Gundrilling from 1.50mm up to 40mm diameter through 450mm to 2000mm long billets on centreline drilling machines and 2.50mm up to 40mm diameter on indexable table machines. Larger bores can also be accommodated on dedicated ejector boring machines.

PBM's temperature controlled honing facilities cover both horizontal and vertical machines, with a capacity from 1.50mm up to 200mm.

Superfinishing capacity covers 6mm diameter components as well as 60mm diameter. Parts with bore tolerances to 0.001mm accuracy are achievable, as are finishes of 0.05Ra.

Housed in a new 8500 sq. ft.

factory in Andover, PBM has formal Airbus approval as a preferred supplier, and other approvals include those from BAe, Rolls Royce, GKN Aerospace, Messier and Aerostructures Hamble.
