The timing of the mission was particularly good as the Japanese Aerospace industry is currently very active, being involved with several major projects including the Boeing 787, Bombardier and Embraer. Recent developments in Japan, such as EJ101 and RR Trent sales, together with significant successes by other European countries, mean that there are good business opportunities for UK companies, particularly for those which have unique engineering capabilities and products.
