    Carlton Laser Services (CLS), the Leicester based fine limit sheetmetal work and laser cutting specialist, has installed a Colgar robotic press brake machine, which signals the halfway point through the company's £1.2m project to invest in robotic laser cutting and fabrication cells including robotic folding and laser/punch combinations.

    HV Wooding, a manufacturer of precision engineered components for the aerospace industry has recently undertaken a major project to manufacture electric motor laminations used in back-up motors for the wing flap actuators of a new commercial aircraft. The Kent based company produced its first wire eroded laminations for the aerospace industry in 1981, and has a successful track record in overcoming engineering design problems of difficult materials and very tight tolerances.
