The company's specialised processes were of interest to The Rt Hon Gordon Brown MP Chancellor of the Exchequer, when he visited Amfin's state of the art premises last month.

HV Wooding, a manufacturer of precision engineered components for the aerospace industry has recently undertaken a major project to manufacture electric motor laminations used in back-up motors for the wing flap actuators of a new commercial aircraft. The Kent based company produced its first wire eroded laminations for the aerospace industry in 1981, and has a successful track record in overcoming engineering design problems of difficult materials and very tight tolerances.
