North West Engineers Exhibit at Major Defence Shows

North-west based Merc Engineering UK Ltd recently joined NDI (Northern Defence Industries Ltd), a networking defence manufacturer association aiming to help its members, through events, exhibitions, and business support programmes.
Merc’s first event with NDI will be to exhibit at DVD 2007 (Defence Vehicle Dynamics), a Military Vehicles and Equipment exhibition, 27-28 June 2007.
NDI provides support and receives enquiries from international prime contractors, integrators, MoD procurement, logistics and repair agencies to identify and recommend appropriate supplier and subcontractor capabilities.
Says Mr Nuttall, MD: “We are expecting to attend several events in the year and we are also keen to increase business with companies in Northern England. Joining NDI is one more step toward World Class Manufacturing status.”
DVD 2007 is an annual event which brings together industry and customers within the defence and emergency services environment. It encompasses a diverse range of military, commercial and emergency vehicles as well as products which support and enhance them.
Merc Engineering wil also be exhibiting at DSEi, the largest Western defence exhibition, due to take place at London’s Excel, 11-14 September 2007.
