CATIA Capability Expands

W&J Tod Ltd, specialists in composite component engineering, are expanding their Crewkerne-based engineering design centre with additional CATIA workstations.
Digital solid models of components generated with CATIA are used for qualified stress and weight calculations, tool design and manufacturing support, as required by the aerospace, mass transit and marine defence industries.
Peter Eckershall, W&J Tod's head of engineering, explained: "Components manufactured from lightweight and fire resistant composites are being specified by a diverse range of industrial clients. The continual investment in CATIA will enable us to service our increasing level of military and commercial projects from across the world."
