Surface Engineering Awards 2002 Recognise and Honour Excellence

The Surface Engineering Awards 2002 will be presented at a gala dinner on Friday 11 October in the International Convention Centre, Birmingham.
This flagship event in the industry's calendar honours excellence and innovation, and serves to remind us of the often vital role of surface engineering in the nation's wealth creating capacity.
The awards are organised by the Surface Engineering Association, the umbrella body for the advancement of surface engineering with members spanning the whole sector. The prestigious event has attracted sponsorship from Severn Trent, the Environment Agency, MacDermid, Shipley Europe, Henkel Surface Technologies, Schloetter and Combined Benefit Services.
The awards will be presented by Lord Hoyle of Warrington and the compere for the evening is TV personality Jim Bowen.
A record number of entries have been received this year. The categories encompass business achievement, the environment, marketing, quality, training, process innovation and outstanding achievement for the industry as a whole.
