'People Centred' Firms Apply For Annual Award

The Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development is inviting people centered UK and Irish manufacturing organisations to apply for this year's People Management Award. Director general, Geoff Armstrong said: "We want to hear about how people management is helping to deliver competitive success."
Past award winners demonstrate that there is no single blueprint for success. Winning entries have included diversity initiatives, partnership agreements between industry and unions and re-organisations.
The deadline for entries is April 30 2003, and the winner will be announced at the CIPD President's Dinner on 22 October 2003.
