Changes Taking Place in Mouldmaking Examined

Mouldmakers from around the country will be gathering in Coventry on 20 February, for Mouldmaking'03, which is a conference that will examine the changes taking place in the industry.
Jointly sponsored by the Gauge and Toolmakers Association, (GTMA) the British Plastics Federation (BPF) and the Institute of Materials, Minerals and Mining (IOM3), the conference programme includes business and technical presentations as well as the opportunity to network and visit the accompanying exhibition.
The technical presentations include: A detailed look at two-shot moulding; An examination of the interaction between part design and mould cooling; and New concepts in rapid product development with which to collapse the timescale needed to bring new products to market.
