Responsible Electroplater Achieves Recognition for Environmental Controls

Recognising that environmental responsibility is a key supplier attribute, within 18 months of deciding to obtain ISO14001 accreditation, R Wilson & Co, Chesterfield, has become one of the few companies within the electroplating industry to achieve the standard. It is just one of a string of good practice accreditations held by this proactive firm, which was established in 1947.
Pickling & Passivation Plant Extends Services

Specialist surface finisher of stainless steel and higher alloys, Vecom of Barnsley, South Yorkshire, extended the scope of service it provides with the opening of a new pickling and passivation plant at Bury, Lancashire earlier this month.
