UK Companies Invited to Join US Trade Mission

There are major opportunities for UK engineering companies to expand their US customer base. The Engineering Industries Association (EIA) is organising a trade mission to Chicago in February 2004, supported by Trade Partners UK, North American Directorate.
The proposed itinerary includes a three day visit to National Manufacturing Week, in Chicago, which attracted 47,477 visitors in 2003.
It remains the dominant gathering place for buyers and sellers of products and technologies that support and integrate the entire manufacturing process in North America.
The nett cost of the grant assisted trip is approximately £375. The travel package costs £700, which includes an economy class airfare, departure tax and three nights four star suite accommodation. A registration fee of £175+VAT is also payable. Upon return, £500 will be refunded to eligible companies in the form of a Trade Partners UK travel grant.
Eligible companies must be based in the UK and be promoting UK goods and/or services.
