Machine Shop Also Offers Material Supply Service
01 Nov 2003
Millbrook Precision Engineering has won a further three year contract to machine a new type of turret to be assembled on personnel carrier vehicles for an existing major customer. The general subcontract engineering company undertakes work up to 10t and 10ft diameter, and also offers a sourcing service for materials.
The company specialises in quality machined castings and fabrications, and has over 30 years experience machining parts for centrifugal/reciprocating compressors. All machining operations are done under one roof, in a modern well equipped 22,000sq. ft workshop that operates a two shift system.
Millbrook also sources and supplies materials such as castings and fabrications, from suppliers with whom the company has good ongoing relationships. This provides customers with machined, assembled and tested products.
Millbrook Precision Engineering was formerly the machine shop of Bryan Donkin Co. Ltd, Derbyshire, which produced gas valves, compressors and blowers for over 100 years. The employees of Bryan Donkin have stayed with the company through its regeneration and continue to provide the excellent service and quality expected in the industry.
