Llewellins Gears, Bristol, a specialist designer and manufacturer of power transmission components and gearboxes, is currently designing a gearbox for a North Sea application that will go into production next month. Other recent work includes rebuilding gear units for submarines, replacement gearboxes for oil rigs, vintage cars, new drive systems for armaments, and parts for Airbus.
