The recent addition of two new matrix thread grinders has increased the capacity to produce ground thread forms at high speed, either from solid, or from pre-cut thread. The gear grinding facility is consistently achieving high standards to Din 5-6.

Already ISO 9001:2000 accredited, Gibbs Gears had a recent assessment for TS157, and hopes to have full accreditation to the aerospace standard by spring 2004. The company produces gears and associated parts in small batches for engineering and autosport companies, as well as call-off orders for large OEMs in the medical, marine and aerospace sectors.
