Northern Europe's Largest Subcontractor's Fair Attracts British Exhibitors

A major international trade fair exclusively for the subcontracting industry will takes place 11-14 November in Jonkoping, Sweden.
In the same week as the TEAM event (NEC, Birmingham), companies from 24 countries will be exhibiting at Elmia Subcontractor, hoping to get a foothold in the Scandinavian market and to do business with the likes of Volvo, Scania, Ericsson, and Saab.
Last year, when Elmia was held for the 19th time, 15,679 visitors attended, and 25% of the exhibitors were from 25 countries other than Sweden.
A survey of the exhibitors showed the many different sectors they serve: 50% Engineering Industry; 47% Automotive industry; 43% Machine Industry; 36% Electronics Industry; 27% Telecommunications; 19% Instrument Industry; 17% Defence Industry.
This year, the British trade association for foundry and forging companies, MetformEx, is attending for the third time. The association is organising a joint stand for the five subcontractors exhibiting from Britain: Hi Quality Castings; JV Murcott; Expocet; Barton Coldform; RSM Castings.
Joint stands of subcontractors from China and from France will also be back again.
An Austrian company Wuppermann Metalltechnik GmbH manufactures perforated steel tubes and Elmia is the place where the company meets its customers.
