High Volume Supplier Offers Small Batch Work

One of the leading producers of high volume precision turned parts in the UK, Coleshill-based MSP Turned Parts has recently invested in two Star sliding head machines to take on smaller batch quantities of parts in steel, brass and aluminium.
"The SB16 and the latest 9-axis SV32 allow us to machine components in one hit and run smaller batch work. We try and differentiate our production philosophy from other companies by running smaller batch work that doesn't tie the machines down with lengthy set-ups, " says sales manager, Chris Ferrar.
MSP supplies most industries with capacities ranging from 6mm to 57mm diameter on multi-spindles, and up to 65mm on CNC machines.
The firm commits considerable time and resources to the investigation of new techniques, machinery and working practices in order to meet new demands and provide the very best service for its customers. "We are very proactive in forming solid longterm relationships with our customers, " says Chris. "Once we have a customer, we try not to let them go. If you look at our customer base, you'll find that many of our clients have stayed loyal to MSP for over 15 years."
