Formal Airbus Approval Adds to Highly Preferred Supplier's Long List

Hampshire based Perfectbore Ltd, has achieved major success in supplying aerospace spools and valves lapped to sub-micron roundness, straightness and cylindricity. This expertise, combined with exacting surface finish requirements, has been rewarded with formal Airbus UK approval as a preferred supplier.
Over the last decade, Perfectbore has contributed to major projects such as Eurofighter, Apache, Hawk, and Tornado, which resulted in formal approvals as preferred supplier for honing, gundrilling, and super finishing.
The firm's expertise in producing bore size and bore geometry has led it more recently into the field of internal and external lapping. Due to an expansion programme, the Hampshire based company is also able to offer total manufacture if required.
Perfectbore's list of approvals now includes: ISO 9001:2000;
BAe/AG/QC/SC/pt1; Rolls Royce CQC103 (SABRE); Smiths Aerospace;
Airbus (UK); GKN Westlands.
