Boosted by a further £800,000 investment in its first shot blasting line and a new CNC machine, Eurotech has plans in place to install a further three die casting units by 2005, a move that will provide it with the capacity to make further inroads into the architectural hardware and home furnishings market.

"The business is now in a much stronger positing to attack the many challenges and opportunities that lie ahead. By investing considerable funding and manpower into creating a class leading casting department, we have successfully diversified our core interests and established new revenue streams that will grow by £1m per annum for the next three years, " added Paul.

Paul concluded: "This is a massive shot in the arm for British engineering and shows what can be achieved when you are committed to aggressive marketing, best-practice manufacturing and innovation. There's too much talk about failure and international competition; why not focus on the positives and the simple notion that we still lead the world in quality and customer service?"

The company is now setting its sights on further growth and the challenge of securing more overseas business.
