CBM Organises 'Revival' Conference

The UK metal forming industry is determined to show that it can survive, prosper and solve its own problems. The Confederation of British Metal forming (CBM) will hold an annual, one day conference 'Manufacturing A Revival' on 25 March to inspire and enthuse its members and guests to take positive steps towards a prosperous future.

On 4th March, 2004 the GTMA, Corus Automotive, Dzus Fasteners, Brunel University and Tanet are holding a seminar discussing how the application of Knowledge Based Engineering (KBE) will affect manufacturing in the UK and examining the results of the recent DTI-funded TEDI (Tooling and Experiential Design Initiative) scoping study into the current and future condition of UK toolmaking.
