Sheet Metal Working

New FabForm Show To Give Sheet Metal Forming Industry what it Wants

MackBrooks Exhibitions, the organisers of EuroBLECH, have announced FabForm 05 - the 1st International Sheet Metal Forming and Fabricating Technology Exhibition, which will be held at Nurnberg Messe from 6th-9th December 2005. The organisers say this fulfils the sector's long-time wish for its own forum.

The sheet metal forming industry is a specific group of technology providers who, for a long time, have wanted their own, clearly defined exhibition. As sheet metal forming technology progresses at such a fast pace, the two-year interval between the EuroBLECH events is now too long, so a smaller exhibition is urgently required to keep the market informed of the latest developments. Added to this, the general trend favours compact specialised shows where the atmosphere is more intimate.

"FabForm 05 is not a miniEuroBLECH - it is an independent event that will deliver solutions to technical problems for a clearly defined, vertical market" commented Stephen Brooks, Chairman of MackBrooks Exhibitions.

The exhibition profile of FabForm is largely aligned with the wishes repeatedly expressed by leading industry representatives. The nomenclature is very tight and limited to the four core sheet metal areas:

Forming; Separation/Joining; Flexible sheet metal working; Tool technology.

FabForm 05 is designed to fully meet the requirements of the mainly medium-sized exhibitor companies and the open period of four days is also in line with the industry's wishes.
