Defence Contract Won

Jefferson Engineering Services has recently won a contract to supply Thales Missile Electronics with prototype, high precision components for the NLAW missile system being jointly developed between Thales and Saab Bofors Dynamics of Sweden. On the strength of growing demand, the company has recently invested in additional 5-axis machining capabilities.
Based in Ashford, Kent, Jefferson now possesses a state-of-the-art plant list that includes seven 5-axis machining centres, which it uses to manufacture ultra-high precision, complex machined components and sub-assemblies.
This contract will strengthen Jefferson's position as a strategic supplier to the global aerospace and defence sector.
