MRT Castings Limited, the Hampshire based diecasting and machining specialist has experienced 20% sales growth in the past 12 months. Two Buhler pressure diecasting cells featuring the latest productivity and quality enhancing technologies have recently been installed. MRT's foundry offers sand casting, gravity diecasting and high pressure diecasting in aluminium and zinc alloys.

Copper Alloys Ltd, Stoke-on-Trent, has grown steadily since its management buy-out four years ago. Earlier this year a new horizontal casting line was commissioned, which has not only improved competitiveness in existing products but has opened up the door to a whole new market in copper alloys including brass.
