Heat Treatment

Stress-Relieving Services are Extended and Flexible

The Lincoln division of Hoval Ltd has recently had its new Top-hat furnace commissioned, which enables the company to heat treat at higher temperatures, up to 1100ºC. The new furnace adds normalising and solution annealing to existing stress relieving services for component sizes up to 2700 x 2100 x 4000mm. Special cycles can be tailored to compensate for thickness and specified variations.

Hoval's other furnace, which is one of the two largest in the UK, treats vessel fabrications up to 18m long and 800ºC to relieve stresses after welding.

Hoval's Newark manufacturing plant has been serving the building services industry for over 100 years, manufacturing and supplying boilers, calorifiers, ventilation and heat recovery units, pressure vessels, radiant tube heaters and incinerators.

Hoval Ltd purchased the former Lincoln production facility of Beel Industrial Boilers. This brings 40,000 sq. ft. of fabrication space with 100t cranage and extends Hoval's ability to undertake the very largest of boiler and pressure vessel work.
