First Tier Supplier Takes Delivery of New Lathe

Autofour Precision Engineering, which specialises in manufacturing high accuracy turned parts up to 50mm diameter in batches of 10 to 200 off for the defence industry, has also taken delivery of a MHP65 CNC lathe from Geo Kingsbury (see above), on the back of new business.
Mainly employing sliding-head lathes, the company has two fixedhead models, an Index ABC and now the MHP lathe, both supplied by Geo Kingsbury. The new lathe, also with live tooling in every turret station, is for carrying out second operations on parts coming from the ABC.
A first tier supplier to the aerospace and allied industries, Autofour is also a supplier to such Blue Chip companies as Renishaw, Moog Controls, Smiths Industries, Spirax Sarco, ITT Cannon, Glenair International, Penny & Giles, Cotswold Design, and AK Industries.
