    MACH organisers, the Manufacturing Technologies Association (MTA) are now well on target to achieve their goal of attracting over 500 exhibitors to the show. There are now 360 confirmed exhibitors attending the 2006 show. 

  • Growth in Aerospace Sector Keeps UK Industry Optimistic

    Britain's manufacturers are continuing to show their resilience despite the slowdown in the UK and a raft of rising costs, according to one of the UK's leading business surveys published last month. The survey noted continued growth in the aerospace sector. Against this backdrop, Boeing's ongoing investment in R&D and its selection of UK partners to supply mission critical systems and parts for the 7E7 will have a knock-on effect to other suppliers.

In January the company purchased a DMU 50 eVo universal CNC machining centre from DMG (UK) to boost the prismatic component side of its manufacturing business. Such has been the success of the machine that Amdale has just ordered a second machine, this time a new DMU 50 eVo linear, branded by DMG as representing a 'revolution' in five-axis machining.
