    West Bromwich based, Computer Software Group has this month launched its latest offering from the Chorus product suite. For over 30 years Chorus software has been designed for (and built using the expertise of) SEA members in the UK such as Frost Electroplating and Afon Tinplate. 

    Seminar for Finishers

    The Surface Engineering Association (SEA) is to stage a major seminar for the finishing industry to run alongside Surface World + Paint & Powder 2005. Just a short walk from the exhibition in the NEC Pavilion, the seminar venue will be the Crowne Plaza Hotel. There will also be a dinner at the hotel in the evening of 8 November, jointly sponsored by the SEA and Surface World magazine. 

    Plating Partnership Leads to New Cadmium Plant

    In what is believed to be a unique arrangement in the aerospace industry, Westland Transmissions, based in Yeovil has recently signed an agreement with Exeter based South West Metal Finishing (SWMF), to outsource electroplating requirements. 

    Testing Equipment for Coating Process on Show

    At the Surface World show, Elcometer of Manchester will be exhibiting a complete range of test equipment for use at all stages of the coating inspection process. Elcometer are the largest manufacturers of high quality inspection equipment with specialised divisions dedicated to coatings inspection, concrete inspection and industrial metal detection.

    Surface World + Paint & Powder 2005 is the only dedicated finishing industry exhibition in the UK until 2007. All aspects of product finishing, surface treatment and industrial coatings will be represented, providing the finishing industry with major sales and marketing platforms.
