A New Sliding Head Lathe Every Year Enables Multi-Task Processing

West Yorkshire based Yorkshire Precision Engineering Ltd is exceeding projected targets year on year. Formed in early 2001 with just one Star sliding head lathe, the company has invested in another every year since. The most recent addition is a SV32J which has been so successful that there are plans for a 5th STAR later this year.
Managing director Michael Laybourne believes the only way forward is to invest in the latest equipment and tooling available.
Employing a highly skilled workforce with a wealth of experience, Yorkshire Precision has the ability to manufacture complex parts and components in a single operation including ultra-precision micro-machining. Production facilities run 24/7 providing components from 0.5mm to 32mm in diameter in batch sizes from 25 to 100,000.
