New aerospace projects, for example the A380, A400M and the Joint Strike Fighter have all been approved and are moving towards commercial realisation. Levels of existing production are expected to increase substantially; by up to 50% in the case of Airbus. First tier suppliers are already seeing this new work coming through, and it is expected that it will swiftly percolate down the supply chain.
