Extrusion Firm Expands CNC Machining Capacity

The commissioning of a new Italmac Zeus 7000 5-axis CNC machine centre has now been completed at the Bromyard based Holden Aluminium Technologies. The machine offers a capability in excess of seven metres long. Its arrival doubles the 5-axis capacity which is supported by several 4-aAxis machines, cut off saws, stretch forming, roll forming and flow forming facilities.

The last twelve months has seen a continuation in growth at the Bromyard based Holden. The aluminium forming and CNC machining company, specialises in manipulation of aluminium extrusion.

Further plans are in place to extend the premises, catering for an increase in demand reflected in the growth of aluminium usage in Europe.

Holden provides quality engineered components for a wide range of industries, primarily automotive, electronic and architectural. Products are in evidence on Aston Martin, Renault and Morgan cars in addition to rolling stock using the channel tunnel, Hong Kong Light Rail as well as many buildings throughout the UK.
