£1.5m Invested to Focus on Added Value, Pays off

Cooney Marine International Ltd is set to grow by up to 20% per year over the next five years thanks to a new government backed High Growth Company Support Programme.
Cooney was the only marine manufacturing based company to be selected for the programme, which will help 17 companies from across the East Midlands to grow their businesses through tailored packages of business support to be delivered by the PERA organisation.
Funded through East Midlands Development Agency (EMDA) and the seven Sub-Regional Strategic Partnerships (SSPs), Cooney will be provided with a dedicated growth coach to offer expert advice and guidance. Specific plans in key business growth areas will also be developed to help increase productivity and improve performance.
Managing director James Cooney said: "This is really good news for us, a unique opportunity, I can already imagine the benefits of it.
