Airbus A380 Will Make its UK Debut at Farnborough International Airshow
01 Jun 2006
From Monday 17 to Sunday 23 July 2006, the Aerospace community will congregate at the 45th Farnborough International Airshow. FIA 2006 offers exhibitors and visitors an exclusive platform to showcase a wide range of products and services and presents an ideal setting for business to be conducted with a global audience.
The organisers have been overwhelmed with the high demand of company participation received for the FIA 2006, with two countries, Spain and Mexico, exhibiting for the first time.
The flying and static aircraft displays will be full to capacity.
Interest in the Business Aircraft Park has grown remarkably and current indications suggest that the number of aircraft on static display is likely to be treble the size compared with 2004.
The Airbus A380 will make its UK public airshow debut and the UK and USA military sectors are set for major participation. Additionally the global business-aviation and rotary wing communities, as well as the prime civil aircraft manufacturers, will be represented.
Demonstrating its support for the unmanned aviation sector, FIA 2006 will feature a UAV Village in liaison with the Association for Unmanned Vehicles Systems International (AUVSI).
