Expansion Presses On

Stroud Metal Co Ltd, Gloucestershire, has completed the latest phase in its planned growth, namely the completion of a new transfer press facility. This brand new factory has been specially designed to optimise manufacturing process efficiencies and to create an environment ideally suited to support the requirements of ISO14001 and TS16949.
Already, an extension to this new building is already underway to accommodate Stroud's high-speed progression presses, de-burring equipment and giving them the ability to further extend the scope and volume of work.
The company produces high-speed, high- volume precision, deep-drawn pressings. With more than 40 years experience in volume transfer presswork, Stroud is able to produce such features as long draws over multiple diameters, screw thread rolling, squared and hexagonal sections, multiple windows, material ironing, bulging and knurling. Their press capacity ranges from 25 tonnes to 130 tonnes.
