Scarce Skills Sourced as Export Order Book Grows

Dudley-based Deepdale Engineering Company Ltd, has recently been successful in recruiting several employees with experience in press brake work and qualified welding on heavy plate, typically 50 to 60 mm thick. The company has an increased level of work from its growing overseas order book, which is making up for the demise of many UK based clients.
Deepdale is one of the few remaining subcontract fabrication companies in the UK specialising in precision rolled and welded thick wall cylinders to large diameter thick wall pipe and tube and tubular fabrications.
Clients are drawn from a diverse range of sectors including: offshore, petrochemical, water, nuclear, civil and environmental engineering, aerospace, renewable energy and a host of subcontract engineering companies.
Exports are to China, Sweden, Portugal, Germany, the Middle East and South America.
