Clean Cut Technology Investments Achieve Tightest Tolerances

Birmingham based Sheen Spark has invested in state of the art EDM machinery throughout the year. The company has purchased a Charmilles Roboform 50 CNC Spark Eroder and a Charmilles Robofil 440cc Wire Erosion machine.
In addition to providing increased capacity, both machines allow the company to machine aerospace and medical components to the tightest tolerances and achieve superior surface finish requirements, moreover the Robofil 440cc allows for “Clean Cut” technology to ensure crack free re-cast white layers on critical components.
In 2007 Sheen Spark is investing in Sigma 6 Quality Standard and will be replacing older machine tools. The company will continue to expand in aerospace, medical and advanced engineering technologies. The company specialises in providing a first class wire erosion and spark erosion service to the aerospace and engineering industries.
