    Environmental Investment Doubles Capacity

    Corrosion control specialist Austin Hayes in Leeds has installed a second spray paint line, specifically designed to meet the new challenges of applying water based paint to MOD standards, whilst complying with environmental legislation. Creating turbulence in the flash off chamber, and increasing the booth sump capacity have improved the existing plant model, designed by production director Steve Graves. .  

    Companies Cooperate on Corrosion Resistant Parts

    Weld cladding specialist Arc Energy Resources has developed a 12-year relationship with W Maass (UK) Ltd, a manufacturer of special connectors, flanges and other pipeline equipment for oil, petrochemical and process projects around the world. The two companies have agreed to cooperate where corrosion resistance is a vital element in component specifications.  

    Software Tool for Electroplaters Gives Cost-Benefit Analysis

    A new tool from Envirowise designed to help electroplaters improve their resource efficiency and save money is in the pilot phase of its development. The software, called Platewise, is currently being trialled by a number of companies prior to its launch later this year.
