“Following a thorough analysis of our business, we realised that we did not have enough detailed management information available,” said Tony Bladen, general manager at BSB Engineering. “This meant we did not have as much control over the business as we wanted and it also made it difficult to see where the business was heading.”

BSB Engineering, based in Bolton, specialises in precision laser cutting, bending and punch pressing. The company supplies products for a range of markets including office furniture manufacturers, and the retail and leisure equipment industries.
