Technology Knowledge Pools Streamlined

The DTI Global Watch Service closed on 31 March 2007. This pioneering service proved successful in helping UK companies find and benefit from overseas technologies.
From April, the main focus for UK companies and organisations seeking innovation support will be the Knowledge Transfer Networks (KTNs).
This change is a result of the Government streamlining and simplifying the support it provides to UK businesses. The KTNs have been set up by government, industry and academia to facilitate the transfer of knowledge and experience between industry and the science base. Much of the content from the Global Watch Service website will still be available via the KTN website, including DTI Global Watch Mission reports, and the extensive technology knowledge pools for which the Global Watch Service website was renowned.
