Profile Highlights Intricate Prismatic Parts and Close Tolerances

Precision turned components specialist APT Leicester has published a new full colour company profile highlighting its  manufacturing resources and capabilities, and has recently updated its website. 

At the end of last year, the company underlined its ongoing investment in high productivity CNC machinery with the  installation of two new Star   SR-10J sliding head lathes at the company’s Groby headquarters in Leicester.

The new brochure details the company’s 50-year track record as a leading supplier of intricate prismatic parts and close tolerance turned components from 1mm to 42mm diameter. It includes information on APT’s state-of-theart, multi-axis fixed and sliding head CNC lathes and advanced
drill/tap machining centres. It also showcases examples of parts produced in aluminium, brass, steel, plastics, stainless and high temperature alloys for customers in industries as diverse as lock making, aerospace, dentistry, confectionery, reprographics, home entertainment, hydraulic and pneumatic equipment manufacture.
