TCT 2007 To Take-Off With Virgin Atlantic

Joe Ferry, head of design at Virgin Atlantic, will headline the forthcoming TCT Conference on Rapid Manufacturing (RM), being held 26–27th September 2007 at the Ricoh Arena, Coventry.
The TCT Conference & Exhibition is the most important event on the 2007 calendar for design and manufacturing professionals in the UK and is the only UK event focused on providing solutions for accelerating products to market.
Mr Ferry’s keynote address on the opening day of the conference will focus on the importance of today’s design engineers embracing new and forwardthinking technologies such as RM. In his role as head of design, Joe is responsible for the overall development and implementation of Virgin Atlantic’s design strategy for products and services, this includes his work on Virgin Atlantic's revolutionary Upper Class Suite and Premium Economy redesign.
Other key industry figures that have already confirmed that they will participate in the conference programme include: Geoff McFarland, Renishaw plc; Terry Wohlers,Wohlers Associates; Dan Johns, Airbus UK; and Tim Steward, Contour Premium Aircraft Seating. Furthermore, a panel session will feature at the start of day two, featuring some of the most notable experts from the RM industry, and this will give delegates the opportunity to openly discuss pertinent issues that they would like addressed.
